This led to the acquisition of Alex And Ani, where he began serving as the Vice President of Marketing. Under his leadership, Seven Swords, the company’s global marketing division also flourished, which landed him with notable clients like The Smithsonian Institution and Benjamin Moore Paints. His relentless efforts helped Alex And Ani being named to Inc. Magazine’s “5000 Fastest Growing Companies” (# 386) and “Fastest Growing Companies in Rhode Island” lists. In his tenure at Seven Swords, he helped increased its annual sales from $500 thousand to over $22 million.
Mota founded VirtualCons in 2018, an innovative platform for live and virtual events. In 2024, he took on the role of the President at Bayport International Holdings Inc.
